Shipping policy


Processing time
Is the time taken for us to prepare your item after receiving your order confirmation email. As our items are all handmade here in London, this can range between 2 days to 1 month (excl weekends and public holidays) depending on stock levels and the item ordered. Please read each item's product description for an estimated processing time. 

Shipping time 
Is the estimated time taken to ship, once the item(s) has been dispatched. We work with various couriers so that you can receive your order in the quickest and most reliable way. You will receive a notification when your order has shipped which will include a tracking number where possible. 

At the moment there may be significant delays shipping to the USA whilst courier companies work out the logistics of the new tariffs.


Packaging 
Due to the fragile nature of our items, we make every effort to package orders to avoid breakages. We use biodegradable potato starch packing peanuts and fully recyclable cardboard boxes. Please try and reuse the packaging where possible. 


Shipping to the UK
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Usually we use Royal Mail's Tracked service for UK deliveries. Shipping rates depend on the size of the items ordered. 


Shipping to Europe
We offer shipping to European countries - shipping rates are calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note that the customer is responsible for any import taxes or custom duties which apply since Brexit. 


Shipping to USA and Canada
Shipping rates to North America are calculated and displayed at checkout. We usually use UPS as our courier and a tracking number will be provided once your item is dispatched.  
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. HS Studio is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.


Shipping to the Rest of World
We are able to ship to most countries. Please note that the shipping time provided is a general estimate, please contact us for a more accurate shipping timeframe for your particular country.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hannahsimpsonstudio@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.


Refunds, returns, and exchanges 
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery for our standard items, as long as the item is in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. Commissions and bespoke items may be returned on a case-by-case basis.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hannahsimpsonstudio@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
